ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

NIT offers B.Tech in various specializations. The minimum educational to apply is 75% marks in 10+2 or top 20 percentile in the 10+2 by the respective board. Physics and Mathematics are the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.

ADMISSION PROCESS

For admission to NIT Warangal, a common application form for different courses for all the NITs will be filled through the respective conducting board website.

Application form for Ph.D. is available for download from the official website of NIT.

Candidates should have passed 10+2 in Science stream for pursuing B.Tech and graduate degree in concerned disciplines for PG programs.

Admissions to B.Tech and M.Tech courses will be through JEE Main and GATE respectively.

NIT Warangal is one of the most sought after institutes in India and CS is the most on-demand branch among engineering students. Naturally, the cutoffs for the NIT W CSE is very very high. You rank of 12k in SC category is not enough for you to secure a seat in NIT Warangal CS branch even with home state eligibility. The highest closing ranks for any branch in NIT Warangal was for biotechnology at around 3600 rank. I would advise you to look for other colleges like Tier-2 NITs or IIITs through JoSAA counselling and also other good state govt. colleges for your future. I hope it helps

NIT warangal is one of the top most Nits available in India. And with a category rank of 13215 you may not get seat in core branches but there are many possibilities of you getting a seat in NIT warangal but in non core branches like food technolgy or fashion technolgy etc. I hope this helps

Hi aspirant, No you are not able to get cse branch in NIT Warangal. But you can try for other state government collages. If this is your 1st attempt then don't loose hope try for 2nd attempt work hard for it.
