Hello Ravi,

As you have got a good rank enough to get a NIT or IIT.With this rank you are definitely eligible to get a NIT. But,For admissions to NITs/ IIITs,Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.

Hello Aspirant,

With this rank, its only possible to get admission in the eastern NITs. Also you can apply for private colleges which accept JEE main scores like BITS and AMITY. My suggestion would be that you repeat for 1 year and try JEE main again so that you can get a better rank which can help you to get into a better NIT. Or else you can apply for private colleges based on this rank.
