It is always advised that in second round of counselling, you should always fill choices higher than your previous round choices so that chances of getting better colleges are more. In your case, it depends on what choice have you locked during counselling phase, you might get a lower preferred college if that is in your choices also. You have not mentioned your AIR, score and category, that would have helped in telling your possibilities more precisely. If you have filled both lower and higher preferred colleges, then chances for lower ones are more than higher ones because seat allotment is merit based. However you can also get a better college than your previously alloted colleges if seats remain vacant.
