No,as per previous year trends you can't get a seat in CSE in NIT surathkal. The closing ranks generally lasts upto 4ooo maximum. So,it is not possible as CSE is most sought after branch in btech. institutes. But,you can get civil engg. as the closing ranks are 25000. So, don't worry much if you not get your preferred branch and college. If it's all about placement than you can join IT industry by showing your coding skills during placements. So, just start your engineering in the Institute you get.Your rank is not that bad.You are a bright student.
All the best.
Plz comment kr de yr
Other state quota
For open category it will be below 2k
For OBC below 3.5k helps
For SC below 20- 25k
For ST below 25–30k.
For home state it varies but obviously it will be less than other state quota u can compare above list
All above mentioned ranks are All india open ranks
Hope it helps!!
Dear Akash very less chance to get CSE/ECE/IT branch because these branches is the most preferable branch in NIT, but don't lose hope might be possible some seat is vacant then you get that seat but very less chance dear don't expect much otherwise you left with heartbreak.
All the best
CSE and ece is not possible in nit suratkal . You may get many other colleges where you can get CSE , ece and it branch . In nit suratkal there is chance of CSE and ece on spot round only .
Thanks
