If you like the course, then go for it. The faculthy and all are good. But you might not get good placement. Good Luck!
The Department of Printing Engineering is one of the premier departments delivering high quality education in the field of printing and packaging in eastern India. Founded in 1988, a unique department which creates a blend of artistic, scientific and technical learning, it took its small fledgling and soared high with time producing some of the finest leaders of the industry around the country and globe. This share of success goes to the teacher student relationships which helps in regular summer training, seminars,industrial visits and an environment conducive for research and projects. A mingle of arts science and engineering metamorphosed into a study inevitably resulted into a multi dimensional curriculum ranging from the basics of computer sciences to the deepest intricacies of printing and packaging,giving our students a wide gamut of choices to tread along one of the many roads. Consequently leading to a diverse alumni base which often plays a vital role during placements.
The Printing Engineering course is supported by members of staff from Department of Science and Humanities, different Engineering disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Computer of the College with guest faculty from industry. Allocated no. of seats are 31 every year for the course, in addition to 5 lateral entries. The Consortium of Printing Industrialists advice, our alumni’s untiring support and help keep the department ahead of others in improving the quality of training offered to the students.
