Hello Kritika,My great thanks to you for your wishes and very lucid directions. I was also thinking the same way to keep the VIT as last option. You have given a good piece of information about RBL for Mtech, as I was not aware of that before.Well, I am still confused about certain things like should I reserve my seat at the VIT. My options of IITs are closed because I could not score good in GATE due to some other crucial issue, and NIT's don't offer admissions to other branched students.I have 3 research papers (relevant to civil+CS). If the overall output of VIT for academics, research and placements are good enough, then only I will book my seat.Once again, thank you for the response to my questions.

Coming to academics, VIT has a good academic curriculum with good faculties and research conference are done every year, you have chance to participate in international research conference like IEEE. Placements are decent, but it mostly depends on your performance and research papers. I will suggest you may book a seat there for backup and try for other institutions. All the best.
