i got seat in malla reddy (mrec campus) in cse branch through ts eamcet councelling.Is it worth going to that college and what were its last year pakages?

Malla Reddy Engineering College is overall a good Engineering College. Reviewing a college is done on the basis of several parameters , here I'll mention some:-

Placements : About 50-60% of the students of CSE get placed every year. The highest package offered is about 12 LPA and the lowest package is 2.8 LPA. The average package being nearly 3.6 LPA . College does provide proper training to the students for sitting in interviews. However cracking an interview depends on a student's skills and abilities.

Infrastructure : The college has the best infrastructure. There are smart classrooms which are very spacious. The library and the laboratory facilities are also good. There is enough space for sports and games. The hostel facilities aren't that good though.

Faculties : The faculties of the department are quite experienced . Teaching quality is average. Some teachers are not able to deliver lectures efficiently. Overall teachers are helpful. Course curriculum is a little out-dated. If you mould yourself in the proper way you will industry-ready anyway. You just have to put some extra effort and do some extra courses and lear programming languages.

There are many better colleges if you want to go for better facilities, but if you want to stick to this one you just have to be willing to put some effort for your benefit.

Actually CSE placement in Malla Reddy is of the average level and about 60% of the students get placed.The highest package was 9LPA,the lowest was 1.8LPA and the average package offered is  3.6LPA.Main companies who come for recruitment are INFOSYS, Value Labs.
