For any other information you can ask us.
Hello Chandra,
As a CSE student and friend of EEE student I would suggest you to go with CSE as it fetches you with many opportunities anywhere. We observe people who opted other groups also finally settling in CSE jobs. So it's better to go with it to excel your skills.
All the very best!!
The below given placement details are based on the review taken by the passed out students from the respective colleges.
MIU -
The placements in Mizoram University are not so good. Different companies visit the college only if NIT Mizoram chooses to merge. The placement cell heads don't work good, and it is because of them the placements are poor at Mizoram University. In 2016, some PSUs came for placements. 3 students of electrical engineering got selected but after that, till now there is no further placement.
MLREC -
Placements in our college are good. The average package offered was 3.5 LPA. CSE and IT students get more placement opportunities because most of the companies are from the IT sector. Students also get internship opportunities from companies like Virtusa, etc. Many companies like Infosys, capegemini, GGK, etc come. Almost every year 500 student are placing in well known characters.
Both the colleges are decent and you must decide your college as per your convenience but the placement rating of MLRS is better so you can consider it as a better choice.
Good luck!
