I got the EWS certificate on 24th september 2019.It is valid for the year 2019-2020.I heard a news regarding the extension of validity time of EWS by MHRD for one year due to covid19.Is it true or I have to apply for the extension of EWS near MRO(Mandal revenue officer)?..

Hi Candidate,
The EWS Certificate is a very important document as it decides that whether you get the Seat from the general category or the special reservation quota which accumulates about 10% of the seats.
It's true that the COVID Pandemic has led to problems from the conventional methods used earlier, but regarding the EWS Certificate the rules are the same as previous- which says the the Certificate should be made or re issued within two to three months prior to the examination.
So, if you have previously made Certificate get it re-issued within the alloted time period.
