First we need to look at NEET UG 2020 85% State Quota Cut off for admission in a Government MBBS College in Telangana (via BC-A Category) -

  • Cut off Marks - 458/720
  • College Allotted with 458 marks - Government Medical College, Nalgonda

Since cut off varies from year to year (as it depends on difficulty level of question paper, number of candidates, number of newly opened colleges), a safe score (for this year) would be 470+ to get a Government MBBS Seat in Telangana (via BC-A Category). Hence with a score of 403, it is difficult to get an MBBS Seat.

However, there are certain Private Medical Colleges in Telangana where you have chances to get a seat with your score. To predict what all MBBS Colleges (including Private) you can get with your NEET UG Rank, you may use NEET UG College Predictor Tool - https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

Dear applicant as per the previous years cut-off trends this is just an assumption of your possible chances, though the cut off can vary based on the difficulty level of the exam or the number of applicants in the exam, with 403 score from BC category chances of Government college is very less. This is because for Government colleges state Quota the cut off mostly remains over 600. Use our NEET UG college predictor to predict the best colleges based on your merit rank

Hello,

To predict if you will get the MBBS seat in a Medical college or not is quite a difficult task as Cut-offs for colleges change every year depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.

--------- If we go by the previous year data (2019) for State counseling for Telangana, then last candidate from OBC Category to get Government quota seat in a Medical College was in MAHAVIR INST OF MED SCI, VIKARABAD and had All India rank 1,12,262 and marks 417

----- So going by this data your chances of getting MBBs seat through Government Quota is quite difficult.

------ But you can get Management seat in below mentioned colleges-

• DR PATNAM MAHENDER REDDY INST OF MED SCI, CHEVELLA

• DECCAN COLLEGE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

• C ANANDA RAO INST. OF MED. SCI., KARIMNAGAR

• BHASKAR MEDICAL COLLEGE, MOINABAD, R.R.

• AYAAN INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

Hi

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

  • number of students that appeared in the neet examination,

  • kind of marks obtained by students  in neet ,

  • toughness level of the neet examination,

  • number of seats available etc.

But when we go through previous data then

>>>>>>> with 403  marks

You hold a low chance to get mbbs seat in Government Medical College .

For example,

in neet  2019 ,  442 marks for obc category was the lowest marks to get mbbs seat in  government medical college   under Telangana state quota and it was for GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, Nalgonda

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-telangana

Even for Government quota mbbs seat in private medical colleges your chances are low .

In Telangana , you have chances for management quota mbbs seats  in private medical colleges like AYAAN INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

You have good chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their neet 2020 , 2nd round cut off :-

-----------) B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks

----------) MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai:- 380 marks

----------) Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar:-360 marks

----------) Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur:- 328 marks

----------) BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks

----------) Saveetha Medical College, Chennai:- 265 marks,

----------) Dr. DYP Edu. Soc. Deemed Uni., Kolhapur:- 262 marks

----------) Vinayaka Missions Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal:- 257 marks

----------) Krishna Institute of  Medical Sc., Karad:- 253 marks

----------) JLN Medical College, Datta Meghe, Wardha:- 239 marks

----------) Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and RI, Puducherry:- 231 marks

----------) Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute, Kancheepuram:- 215 marks

And a few more

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling
