I got uvce in mock allotment, is it good for cse??
Hu Sukanya,
I can understand the dilemma you are having when you got a seat allotment and thus, would try to make it as clear as possible to you.
University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore is a very old university and thus has experience and excellence in imparting engineering education. The department of computer science and engineering at UVCE was established in the year 1983 and houses well infrastructure and strong faculty and alumni network that enables them exceptional. The placement records of UVCE also speak well about the college but at the end of the day, it's the students' individual hard work that makes a college exceptional. Most placements are in mass recruiting companies such as TCS, Infosys, etc
BEST WISHES!
UVCE is quite decent for CSE. The campus is quite big and the facilities too (labs, sports etc). The average placement is okayish with most people getting placed in Mass recruitment firms. However, the campus also hosts a few product based companies.
On the academic front UVCE is knowm to be among the top 15 colleges in the state.
