I Graduate B.E Last year, If is possible for pursuing post graduate in M.Tech courses based on Mechanical engineering?
According to your query,
You would like to know that if you have done your B. E from another branch then after 4 years you get another chance to get your dream branch in M. E where you can change your branch according to your entrance exam marks or merit rank so definitely you need to work hard to get your dream branch.
Best of luck for your future.
Hope you find it useful.
Thank you.
As you have mentioned that you passed out B. E last year and want to pursue M. Tech based on your percentage in Mechanical engineering.. See, let me tell you that yes!!! You can persue M. Tech based on your marks in your graduation.. And no matter which branch you want to opt in your pst graduation.. But yes, it do really matters if you want to take admission in some IIITs, NITs, GFTIs, IITs.. Because to take admission in the government engineering colleges you need qualify GATE and reach the cutoff that are required to get admission in government engineering colleges..
But if you want admission in private engineering colleges or universities, then they can take you nased on your percentage or marks in your graduation..
Wish you all the best!!!!
I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.
Hii aspirant..
If you are taking one year drop after you BTech before doing your Mtech than there is no issue. Rather than spending this one year I tell I would suggest you to have some job experience and get in touch with companies and recruiters.
The 1 year drop that you take will not affect your CV much and even the Drop is not going to be objection by IIT for MTech admission.
Hope it helps.
Best of luck
