I had 6 subjects in class 12 CBSE.I got RT in Chemistry and it got added as additional subject but cleared it with giving CBSE Improvement the same year. Am I eligible for NEET? Will it be a problem during Counselling? I'm taking 2nd drop for NEET.
Hello there,
Yes, you are eligible for NEET as long as you have passed Chemistry, Physics, and Biology with the required percentage for your category. Since you cleared Chemistry through improvement in the same year, it should not be a major issue. However, during counseling, some colleges may ask for clarification regarding subject status. Keep all necessary documents, including your improvement marksheet, for verification.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, then feel free to share your questions with us, we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
If you had six subjects in Class 12 CBSE and received an RT (Repeat in Theory) in Chemistry, which later became an additional subject, but you cleared it through a CBSE improvement exam in the same year, you are still eligible for NEET. As long as you meet the minimum PCB aggregate percentage required for your category (50% for General, 40% for OBC/SC/ST, 45% for PwD), there should be no issue during NEET counseling. Improvement exams are accepted for eligibility. However, it’s always good to check the latest NEET brochure or official guidelines for any updates.
Hello,
Yes, you are eligible for NEET since you have cleared Chemistry through CBSE Improvement in the same year .
Since you have cleared Chemistry and now have PCB as main subjects , it should not be a problem during NEET counseling . Just ensure you have all original mark sheets, improvement exam certificates, and passing certificates during document verification.
Hope it helps !
