Dear student,

First, let me clear you the meaning of this SLIDE and FLOAT option in josaa counseling :-

SLIDE - It means, that you have accepted the seat and you want a higher preference branch in the same institute in further rounds, and if you get you will accept it. And if you don't get higher upgraded branch, then your previously alloted seat will remain with you.

FLOAT - It means, that you have accepted the seat and you want a higher preference branch in the other institute in further rounds, and if you get you will accept it. And if you don't get higher upgraded branch, then your previously alloted seat will remain with you.

And you can use any of these options for one time during josaa counselling and it will remain as it is. ( till round 5)

So, if you will use slide option in any round after seat allotment, then it will be remained in slide for further rounds and you cannot change it to float in further rounds.
