I had always been studying only physics notes which my lectures would be giving me to read. I never read ncert text book is it necessary for me to read whole ncert text book? if necessary then within how many days can I complete it?
Physics is a main subject in the stream of science and there are a lot of concepts which have both theory and practical part. So it becomes necessary to learn all the concepts clearly.
It is good that you have the notes of the physics that you from your lectures but one thing you have to know that the Ncert books are the books which are written very carefully as all the necessary things are written there with filtering all the unnecessary things. Reading the book will give you a proper knowledge about the topic and there are many things that you may not be knowing about it .
So I will suggest you to read the book as much as possible and also read the notes to revise the concepts.
NCERT gives you the basic knowledge and builds up strong concepts about the subject. It is okay if you have not prepared from NCERT, provided your preparation is good. It's not that only NCERT will make you pass, and other books cannot. You need to have strong concepts to answer the questions and solve the numericals. You have not mentioned which exam you are appearing for. Books by DC Pandey and HC Verma are preferred for physics, apart from NCERT. Though it doesn't matter that much, since your aim is to understand the concepts and solve the questions. No one will ask you whether you have prepared from NCERT. So don't worry, concentrate on your studies. Solve the previous year question papers to know the trending questions.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!
NCERT books provided the knowledge about all the topics in a very brief and easy way. So, if you have already completed the phycics notes and the lectures that were given to you to study, then you must have a good idea about the subject itself. So, NCERT books will not at all seem difficult to you.
Start read NCERT books and soon you realize that they are much easier than you think. All the best.
Understanding concepts should be the only goal the book doesn't matter much. If you are able to solve MCQs reading your notes then it's absolutely fair enough. If you have read your Notes well then NCERT won't take a lot of time. You can start and start connecting things if you want to. Quality is important and not the quantity. So take enough time thatss okay but make sure you understand everything. Just check first whether you are able to solve MCQs or not because there are many who read only the synopsis of books like HC VERMA, DC PANDEY, MARVEL, etc.
Thank you.
actually those notes are not just synopsis
there are detailed enough
but having lesser pages compared to physics ncert text book chapter....
