I had applied to cbse improvement exam 2021. what will happen if I am absent for the improvement?

Hi.
If you have applied for CBSE Improvement Exam 2021 and you fail to show up in the examination then your previous marks will be retained. If you are an "essential repeat" and fail to show up, the if your previous marks fell into FAIL category, it will remain the same if you get absent for the exam.

Do i need to give medical certificate to my school or should not going to the exam centre is enough please reply asap.
