see data science course involves knowledge of statistics , linear programming, probability and python concepts. it would be wise if you take b.sc in data science, or bsc statistics in your graduation..however students from any area of bsc or btech may become data scientist if they have good knowledge of mathematics and statistical knowledge and programming concept.
