I had done my 12th from Uttarakhand Board in 2011 in humanities (with Hindi English, Geography, Economics and Drawing and Painting). For career reasons now I want to do do 12th again this time with PCMB with english as 5th subject from NIOS. Will my both degrees be legal?

Yes, both 12th certificates from Uttarakhand Board (2011) and NIOS (PCMB) will be legally valid, as NIOS is a recognized board under the Government of India.

Yes, both 12th certificates from Uttarakhand Board (Humanities, 2011) and NIOS (PCMB) will be legally valid. NIOS is a recognized national board, and there are no restrictions on pursuing 12th again with a different stream. However, for higher education or job applications, check if specific institutions accept multiple 12th qualifications.

Hello there,

Yes, both your 12th-grade certificates will be valid. You can legally pursue 12th again through NIOS with PCMB. However, keep in mind:

  1. Legality : NIOS is a recognized board, so your new 12th certificate will be valid for higher education and jobs.

  2. Acceptance : Some universities or government jobs may ask about multiple 12th certificates, so check their eligibility criteria before applying.

  3. Genuineness : Ensure that you appear for all subjects and meet NIOS requirements properly to avoid any issues in the future.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Hello,

Yes, both your 12th certificates will be legal . Since NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) is a recognized board, you can legally pursue Class 12 again with PCMB . However, ensure that the institutions or exams you plan to apply for accept two 12th certificates for eligibility. Some universities may have restrictions, so it's best to check their admission policies before proceeding.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Hello,

Yes, both of your 12th-grade certificates will be legal. Here’s why:

  1. NIOS Legitimacy – The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is a government-recognized board under the Ministry of Education. Its certificates are valid for jobs and higher education.

  2. Multiple Qualifications – There is no legal restriction on obtaining two 12th-grade certificates in different streams. Many students do this for career shifts.

  3. Board Recognition – Both Uttarakhand Board and NIOS are recognized by Indian education authorities.

  4. Career and Admission – Some universities or jobs might ask for clarification, but legally, both certificates remain valid.

Hope you find it useful !
