I had passed my 12th in 2016 with 56% marks and give improvement in 2017 and took addmision in btech 2108 so what is my total extend education gap?.Does companies allow improvement marks?

Since you've passed 12th in 2016 and took an admission to B. Tech in 2018, your total educational gap will be 2 years.
To answer your next question, YES, most of the companies allow the improvement marks so not a worry there, however, many companies set a bar as at max 1 year educational gap, where you might face an issue.
