is it possible to get admission in NIT in home state but my marks are low in board exam?
As shanmuki said , your percentage is not meeting the eligibility criteria 75% (65% for SC ST and Pwd candidates) . So go for josaa if it allows and it's better to think of alternative options for your engineering like some other colleges in your home state
Hi Shailesh!
As far as I'm aware there is a criteria of maintaining a minimum percentage and I'm afraid your percentage isn't meeting that criteria (depends on your category).
All the best!
I think you cannot because 75% is least you should have or to be in top 20 percentile of your board. You can get more derails on this link-

AS PER ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO GET NITS OR IIITS IS TO GET 75% IN BOARDS FOR GENERAL CATEGORY OR TO BE IN TOP 80 PERCENTILE IN YOUR RESPECTIVE BOARD.WHICH IS YOUR HOME STATE AND HOW MUCH MARKS YOU GOT OUT OF 500 IN BOARDS
