Dear Swapna, are you talking about lateral entry into B.Tech 2nd year after Diploma? You haven't mentiones the stream that youbhave completed your Diploma from. There are quite a few colleges that allow lateral entry into B.Tech 2nd year. For example, Parul University of Technology has Lateral entry into B.Tech Mechanical stream for diploma candidates who have scored 50% minimum aggregate in Diploma from a recognised Board. There is a programme in Gujarat which is called Diploma to Degree conducted by ACPC which stands for Admission Commitee for Professional Courses in Gujarat. its so sad to hear!! but i have suggestion for you in two ways where as you can Give GUJCET or else you can write some private entrance exam conducted by private colleges in GUJCET along with that there are few colleges who accept the JEE score in case if you them with you give try
