There are 3 types of seats in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota seats. These are filled by the Candidates who have the domicile of that State. So for example if you want admission in Private Medical Colleges of Odisha under Government Quota, you need to have the domicile of that State. And the second Category is Category B seats which are called Management Quota seats. And these are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. This is where you have a chance for admission. To study under Management Quota. The fees is usually 20-30 lakhs for the entire duration of the course. If you can score 450-500, a seat in Private Medical Colleges is easier than when you score 400-450. This is because even Management Quota seats are filled through Counselling only.
