Hello, Vivek. First of all I want to say that your question is not complete to answer, you should have mentioned your stream whether you are from science commerce or arts also how many subjects are there from which you want to score 600+ because I remember I had only 6 subjects in my 12th. But it is clear that you want about 90% or plus marks. So I will try my best 2 guide you.

First of all you have a surplus of time in which you can prepare for your exams in a very simple manner.

In 10 months you can complete your syllabus and revise up to 3 to 4 times. Although I don't know about the subjects which you have to to study So i can't guide you subject wise but but the studying procedure is same in all the courses.

1. Underline: Firstly keep a pencil and buy a highlighter. start from the first chapter and read all the lines very clearly don't skip the pages. Try to Increase your reading speed and mark all the important points with highlighter and make very small points with pencil to make you understand the whole paragraph. If you are comfortable in Hindi write in that.(read the whole paragraph or definition and make a very small key notes of few words which will describe the whole para and write it on the same book in the side of it so that whenever you revise it you will understand the full paragraph through the keynote.)

2. Revision- this is the most most most important thing in studying any chapter subject or course. It will sound quite hard but really you will have to revise your whole syllabus about at least 3 to 4 times.

First rivision is very important which you will have to do within one or two day of studying anything.

When you study anything you forget more than 60% of that within few hours. Doing first revision will make you to keep more than 80 to 90% of the thing in your mind.

For second revision, you have to book a month for it, take out time and revise all the old chapters you have studied in that month and learn the definitions and important points.

Third revision you will have to do before one or two months of exams. And don't leave anything for future this will be your final revision.

Last revision is not actually rivision which you do one or two days before exam date. In this you only look out the things you have studied previously.

Since you want to get these much marks so you will have to do a bit sacrifice and effort and trust me if you start doing you will not feel it too much hard.

3. Notes- Everyone has its different capacity but if you ask from me I would suggest you should not make notes specially in different copy. As I said you should write important points in the book so that you can  see them exactly while revising it and highlight the important points in the book. Most of the students i have seen try to make different copies for notes of different subjects and spend so much of their time in just making the notes. Many of them stop making note in the middle when they have wasted most of their time and many will feel that the notes are not up to the mark. So I dont feel it efficient.

4. Phone- The enemy of students and the spoiler of students life yes the phone. This is the most difficult part even more difficult than studying. If you are not a phone addict or do not have a smartphone then it's truly very very awesome.but if you are don't give excuses to yourself that you would not use it or you will limit using it . because when you start your phone even fir ant work You forget about the other things and you keep using it for a very long time and after that you will realise that you have wasted a very long time in this.

If you have a option exchange your phone with keypad phone or give your smartphone to your mum dad or someone else or keep it in the locker till exams because it has the power to fail a topper student trust me I have seen a lot of students.

5. Refreshments - refreshment is also very important part for doing study in a nice manner. One of most important in that is power nap.

Try to take a power nap or sleep for half an hour to 45 minutes and not more than that in the the afternoon. Set an alarm for that.

Doing this can increase your memory power, and learning ability of up to 5 times, and will make you feel fresh . But remember not more than 45 minutes or maximum up to 1 hour.

While studying keep your books aside and go on your rooftop or in parks or wherever you feel fresh. Take your earphones, or friend and spend few time  in the evening.

6. Try to get up early in the morning at 5 o'clock and study from that time. For this you will have to sleep early but studying in morning is much beneficial.

Hope you find the above information useful. In case of any more help, feel free to mention.

Hello Vivek,

For effective study first of all, you should have the concentration power after that you can follow your timetable easily. Also keep in mind while you are making your timetable that it should not be hard to follow it. In starting, your timetable should be easy to follow, then gradually you can increase your study hours with concentration also. To study smartly, you should follow a proper routine of studing new chapters, solving numericals, and revision also in all three subjects. All three things should be the part of your preparation strategy in daily routine.

Your time table depends upon you and your situation like sleeping time, time for other home works or the time in which you are more comfortable for study i.e. quality time for you (in morning, in evening or in night). So, you should make your time table in your own way. In this way, you can prepare yourself well for the examination. Study hours should not be more than 12 hours, it's maximum.

Thanks for query, you may visit again for further queries.

All the best for your examination.
