Hi Aspirant,
Congratulations for a decent score in OUAT 2020.The last years cutoff for BSc agriculture was 72-77 in BBSR .The cutoff of B.Sc.(Agriculture), Bhawanipatna was 70-72 and in Chiplima it is about 71-75.These are the few last years statistics and from the cutoff score you can understand you stand a fair chance in getting colleges through your rank as per calculated the score in OUAT.Your approx score stands to be 61-65.So you can get in various colleges. in B.f.sc,B.V.Sc and F.H.Cutoff changes year to year.
Your marks in 10th and 12 th standards are also great and you match the eligibility to apply.
All the best!!
Hello Harapriya!
You must know that OUAT rank is decided by calculating your weightage including your (1/4) marks in OUAT CEE entrance,(1/4) 12th %(PCM or PCB average) and (1/4)10th %. Your calculated OUAT weightage marks is 65 .(you have not mentioned your PCM or PCB average marks of 12th, I calculated using the data you provided).
According to previous year trends, it is evident that it may be tough for you to get a veterinary seat as the cutoff weightage for the last years has been more than 71.5. You have not mentioned your category. If you hold category reservation, you may get a veterinary seat. (Assuming you are a PCB candidate)
But you have good chances to get BSc(Hons) Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, etc. if you are PCB candiadate as the cutoff weightage for these courses is below 70.
If you are a PCM candidate, you will most probably get a seat for B.Tech agricultural engineering.
Go through the article below:-
Hope this helps!
But expect a seat in the last rounds of counseling because the cutoff is increasing every year.
