Hey Vinod !

Although passing Class 12th with a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB Subjects is a vital eligibility criteria for securing a seat in any MBBS college being a UR category applicant.

But first and foremost, you need to appear for NEET and get the required marks in order to compete for a seat.

Every Medical College in India incorporates students every year on the basis of their marks in NEET ( Except AIIMS & JIPMER )

So, if you did appear in the exam, do share the details like marks, category so that we can help you out.

Hope this helps.

All the Best !

Hi Vinod!

You cannot register for MBBS or BAMS course directly. You will have to first appear for NEET. In order to appear for NEET, apart from other eligibility criterias, you should have a minimum aggregate as follows:

UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)

If you do not have these marks then you cannot appear for the exams.

All the best!

Hi Vinod! If your aggregate marks in Physics+Chemistry+Biology alone are 40% then you may apply for NEET under OBC Category, you will be eligible! Please note that the percentage is calculated for this only by taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology marks. If the percentage is 40 or more than that, you can appear for NEET. Good luck!
