You have not mentioned which category you belong to nor the state you hold domicile in. With a rank of around 12,000 it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the NIT's when comparing the results of previous years. Also, One thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure.
