Hello Sruthi ,
Firstly during the examination these is no such thing that your thumb impression has to match 100%, more than 80% is enough, and also take remaining documents like admit card,id proof etc.
Eat healthy food , take some vitamin tablets or apply tumeric powder to the wounds for speed recovery you are having almost one week for the examination by that time you will be free from wounds.
All the best for your examination and hope for a speed recovery.
Shruthi, it is unfortunate that you have a growth on the hand just few days before the exam. But on the day of the exam, when you are giving the thumb impression, even if it matches to more than 90%, you are fine because the rest of the security check will be done by validating your Id proof, Photograph, Signature, etc. So do not worry about that. And even on the day of the examination, when the invigilator sees the wound on the thumb, he/she might even consider it. So do not worry about that. On a personal note, try Vitamin C tablets or even applying turmeric on the thumb. That will fasten the healing process. But regarding the exam checking, it will not be an issue and so do not worry about it.
