M.E. Heat Power engineering is about theheat conversion theories through appropriate equipment. It teaches techniques and technologies applied to heat power in today's era. The Heat power is the combination of theories and the practical application of such heat related machines.
Thermal engineering is a specialisation in the field of Mechanical Engineering and is mostly linked to Thermodynamics.
