NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Hi Abhijeet,
As from this year the seats of vetrinary sciences education are going to be filled through neet scores and knows there are 15% seats on all india basis and the cutoff vary year to year.
Last rank which got admission in veterinary college for unreserved category was 301707 last year.
So, to be on safer side the score should be above 350 and you have achieved it.so, you can get yovt. veterinary college very easily. Here is the list of some good veterinary colleges where you can apply for:-
1. VRI, bareilly
2.NDRI, haryana
3. GB pant university, pantnagar, uttrakhand
4. VCRI, tamil nadu.
5. CVAS, rajasthan.
6.BAU, jharkhand ;etc.
Also, there are many more where you can easily apply for to get the seat for your veterinary courses.
For more information check out the official sites too.
Good luck.
Dear Aspirant
You didn't mentioned through which quota you want admission and neither your category or your AIR.
Nevertheless, if you are seeking admission through AIQ and belong to general or OBC, it would be difficult for you as observing from 2018 cut offs, the UR or OBC candidate should secure AIR under 30000, SC under AIR 105000 and ST under AIR 109000 for year 2019 for the same course.
Your rank would be around in lakhs and if you are a SC/ST candidate, then you might have some chance as there are approximately 525 seats.
Although you may try getting admission in your state where you might have good chances
Note: cut off changes every year.
Hope this helps you.
You have not mentioned your category or state.
Anyways with 423 marks your chances of getting a decent government college in your state through state quota are very high even with unreserved category.
So as of now, be updated with the counselling dates and schedule.
Having said that cutoffs change every year depending upon level of toughness of exam and number of students appearing etc.
