Hello!
While it may be difficult for you to get a seat, it's definitely not impssible to get a seat under the state quota for a general category student, but it mainly depends on availibility of seats in your college of choice. Do keep a look out for counsellings, and try to get a seat first through the state quota.
Good luck!
Hi Pushpesh,
Based on a score of 479 out of 720 in NEET 2019 the possibility of getting govt. seat for MBBS in any state quota is very low. The fact that you belong to general category decreases the possibility. But if you willing pay a little fee per year upto max of 5 lakh then you can get govt. seats in private medical colleges. The fee is upto the state wich you belong to and there is also chances in all india quota.
Thank you.

Congratulation for scoring decent marks in your NEET examination. You will definitely get a private college for mbbs under state quota in general category. According to last years cut off you are also falling in the cut off of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical Institute, Lucknow that is a government college ( but the cut offs may vary from year to year )
