I have 6 subjects and failed in math but was declared pass. can I give the compartment this year ?

You particularly qualify the Maths subject, you may appear for Compartment exam for Maths. But while calculating the aggregate percentage marks, your maths marks will be replaced by the additional subject's marks which you have qualified. Additional subject is offered for this special case so that if a student fails in one of the main subjects then additional subject's marks can be taken into consideration for calculation of aggregate percentage marks.
