I have 60% in both class 10 and 12th. am I eligible for iima?
There is a rating system based on your scores for IIMs. You are rated based on your scores in 10th and 12th and then shortlisted. For example, if you look at 10th percentage vs marks,
Percentage in the 10th |
Rating |
<=55 |
1 |
>55 and <=60 |
2 |
>60 and <=70 |
3 |
>70 and <=80 |
5 |
>80 and <=90 |
8 |
>90
10
Now in 12th, you can be a Science student or an Arts student or a Commerce student.
Now coming to the 12th, it looks like this for various Streams:
Percentage in the 12th science |
Rating |
<=55 |
1 |
>55 and <=60 |
2 |
>60 and <=70 |
3 |
>70 and <=80 |
5 |
>80 and <=90 |
8 |
>90 |
10 |
Percentage in the 12th Commerce |
Rating |
<=50 |
1 |
>50 and <=55 |
2 |
>55 and <=65 |
3 |
>65 and <=75 |
5 |
>75 and <=90 |
8 |
>90 |
10 |
Percentage in the 12th Arts/humanities |
Rating |
<=45 |
1 |
>45 and <=50 |
2 |
>50 and <=60 |
3 |
>60 and <=70 |
5 |
>70 and <=85 |
8 |
>85 |
