Factually speaking, 70 percentile in JEE Mains will fetch you nothing. NIT Admissions will start with students around 95-97 percentile for OBC depending on the NIT. And local government colleges will not consider JEE Score as the admission criteria though private colleges might consider. So, you should definitely use your 87 percentile in MHTCET to get a seat.
