Hello there,
Yes, you can appear for the
JEE (Joint Entrance Examination)
if you have 75% in
Class 10
, as the eligibility criteria for JEE don't require a specific percentage in Class 10. However, for
JEE Main
eligibility, the focus is on your Class 12 marks.
Eligibility for JEE Main:
-
Class 12 or equivalent exam
: You must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.
-
Minimum marks
: For general category students, a minimum of
75%
in Class 12 (or top 20 percentile in the board exam) is required. For SC/ST, the minimum is
65%
.
- If you're still in Class 12 or preparing for it, you can appear for JEE Main, provided you meet the above requirements in your final exam.
Since your Class 10 marks are not directly considered for eligibility, focus on performing well in your Class 12 exams to meet the criteria for JEE Main.
