I have 9.4 CGPA/ 89.3 % in 10th and 87.4% in 12th. I completed engineering with 8.69 CGPA/ 81.9%. Is this good enough for getting IIM-A,B,C?
Hello Anand,
You have an above average academic record. It is definitely a good profile. If you are targetting old IIMs, it is always safer to score 99+%ile looking at the competition prevailing this year.
A score of 95+%ile can get you into new IIMs. Moreover, work experience in the range of 1.5-2 years can fetch you some extra points.
Good Luck.
Dear Anand,
Your profile is aboveaverage.TO get admisison in IIMs will largely depend upon your CAT percentile and GDPI.
Answering your question, if you score over 95 percentile in cat you will have a decent chance in some new IIMs and baby IIMs as well. It will depend upon your percentile and even more on GDPI.
Also if you have percentile in range of 97 plus then MDI gurgaon is a possibility. All other colleges like IITs and IMT are possible over 95.
Also try to score over 99.5 percentile if you are targeting IIM ABC.
Anand since your percentage in every phases are very good so faar but for getting into the IIM premises you need to have the target of 99 percentile because each IIM campuses have the 99 percentile across every branches.
