HELLO ASPIRANT
Congratulations for your result and qualifying JEE mains.
since it is very difficult to predict the exact rank but we do have a backup we
have a formula to calculate the expected rank that is (100 – Total percentile) x 869010/100.
So according to formula your expected rank for present percentile for January session comes out to be 29546. Now the expected rank might change depending on the no of candidates appearing the april session. For ex if 12 lakh candidate appear the april session then just replace 869010 by 12 lakhs. But if you score above 85 percentile then you have a very decent chance of qualifying jee mains.
Now since the official cutoffs fro college are yet to be decided but let us analyse your chances by looking into the previous year cutoffs data

Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur
Branch name    Open    Close

Bio-chemical Engineering    40100    46734

Chemical Engineering    30882    37138

Civil Engineering    28803    35093

Computer Science and Engineering    14038    23874

Electrical Engineering    24505    31889

Electronics Engineering    26076    30472

Food Technology    38003    47836

Information Technology    24238    25897

Leather Technology    47331    49415

Mechanical Engineering    28854    34511

Oil Technology    38300    44496

Paint Technology    38199    44031

Plastic Technology    41493    47198
Well if we analyse previous year cutoffs then you have a very good chance getting into this institute but i suggest you appear for the april session as well so and grab a percentile above 99.6+ so that you may get top NITS.and most importantly baap of the exams i,e Advance which may directly lead you into IIts.
