I have a doubt pls clarify, I am in 12th commerce with maths and I am interested in technology, so thought of going in technical field, but I researched and found that BCA+MCA is getting outdated, is it so?, should I repeat my class 11 with PCM and do btech CSE from decent college?
hi,
see to tell the truth in current industry what matters is skill, bca and mca are another option to join in Information technology industry besides b.tech, m.tech and M.sc course. however students who has latest technology knowledge and getting job in relevant sectors. Its true that markets are saturated and it is difficult to secure a job in tier 1 mnc, in that case college placement matters a lot. however since you are enthusiastic in technology you may join bca course after completing 12th, after completing bca if you have good hands on project knowledge on web development you may join web development , software analyst like positions.
also you have options for mca in future. but I would not suggest to repeat 12th course again. complete your 12th course sincerely and then proceed for bachelors course admission.
Hello,
BCA is bachalor of computer application. It's not outdated dear. You are already doing commerce then why you should join the Science stream again. You can do BCA and after that you can go for MBA. Masters of business administration. You can get a good package job in any company dear. Although you can go for banking job or CA because you are a commerce student. You can go for UPSC examination. So don't waste your year any more just go with the flow. If you are work harder students you will be a successful.
All the best.
