i have a gate score of 17.63. I belong to EEE branch. Will I get a seat in kerala govt. college. should i apply as gate or non-gate

In 2019 the cut off for GATE for Electrical Engineering was as follows for each category
- General category:39.6
- OBC-NCL:35.6
- SC/ST/PWD:26.4
Considering this you may not qualify GATE 2020.But cut off changes every year, it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available, difficulty of exam etc.To get seat through GATE you need to qualify.However, for admission in M.tech is Kerala Non-GATE candidates are eligible to get seat based on aggregate in B.tech.
So you may have to apply as non-GATE candidate. It depends on the vacant seats available and your aggregate whether you may get seat in government college or not.
