i have a query, My mother name in Educational Certificates and in My Birth Certificate is Rekha ,But in her Aadhar Card her name includes surname i.e, Rekha Devi This troubling me in making my SC certificate as Govt. Officer said Mother name differs in documents. What can i do? Please answer.

You can correct your mother's name in your Adhaar Card by visiting the nearest Adhaar enrollment center. You need to fill the application form and submit the proof such as class 10th certificate/date of birth certificate. You be issued with the updated adhaar card within 15 days of the application. You can then apply for category certificate. Or you can get an affidavit stating that both the names belongs to the same person and then you need to publish it in the local newspaper and save the newspaper cutting with you. You can provide the affidavit when you apply for category certificate along with other required documents but please enquire first if you can enclose affidavit to obtain the category certificate, if you can enclose the affidavit then you can follow this procedure.
