Firstly, NEET exam is an entrance test, which is conducted all over India, for the purpose of getting seat in Government as well as private medical colleges across India. The abbreviation of NEET is as follows National Eligibility Entrance Test.
Secondly, to be eligible for this exam, you need to complete your 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This exam offers totally 90, 000 seats, for getting admission into medical colleges. These include, MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathic Science), BAMS (Ayurvedic Science).
Thirdly, the exam is conducted by National testing Agency, and students also have reservation categories under caste, EWS and PWD. Every year the notification is released by the authorities, and after the exam, three rounds of counselling is held, where you will be allotted seats into various colleges, based on your score or rank.
