Hello Shamith.
"Patience and Perseverance can overcome the mountains".
Anybody can prepare for JEE Mains if they hardwork. It is good that you've started coaching for CET. But if you want IITs, and NITs, then you have to prepare from CBSE Books.
JEE Mains questions are prepared from the complete syllabus of Class 11 and 12 CBSE. In order to get good marks and rank in the exam, one has to complete solving all the questions of these books.
After studying from these books, you might have to enroll yourself in some online test series. These tests provide you with real-time feel of the examination. For best results, give these examinations only at 9:30-12:30 or 2:30-5:30. This is the actual time of the examination. You might get either of the slots during your JEE Exam.
Let's say that you start preparing for JEE from Monday. Assume that you have bought the test series of some coaching class. Check the syllabus of your first online exam. It might be just 2-3 chapters.
After coming back from school, take rest, and then complete all the tution work. Then attend your tutions. After that, start studying those chapters which are in the test. Take the whole week to study. But on Sunday morning, you have to write the examination at 9:30 (or 2:30, whichever you prefer). You have six days in hand, and 2-3 chapters to complete.
Write the exam, and then analyse the mistakes that you've made in it. Make sure that you won't make the same mistake again.
If you follow this schedule, I'm sure that you will be able to crack JEE Examination. You might even become the next topper of JEE. Looking forward to see your picture in the newspaper ;)
All the best!
Always aim high.
If you study well, you can clear Jee advanced and get into IIT.
Now, about your question. See, you can study for JEE by yourself. Always, self study is the best study. But as I said earlier, you have to enroll into some online test series. That's more than enough. Try to do only NCERT books for JEE.
All the best!
Yes it totally depends upon you if you prepare for one entrance exam preparation for other exam is also completed. Prepare for the tougher exam and easier one will automatically be prepared.
