Yes you are eligible for appearing in NDA Exam provided:

You can read vision chart 6/9 with or  without class. myopia should not be more than 2.5D.

For naval service:

Myopia limit is -0.75

For air force :

Myopia limit is -0.75D

But the medical conducted by air force is very strict so i would suggest go for army

Quite nice of you for thinking of joining the armed forces.

Coming to your query, YES you can join NDA even with myopia subject to the fact that it is less than -2.50D. In other words if your eyesight is 6/36 or less your are eligible for joining NDA.

Hi Akilesh,

Medical Criteria of eyesight for NDA is:-

A candidate should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in the worse eye with or without glasses. Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. An internal examination of the eye will be done using an ophthalmoscope to rule out any disease of the eye. A candidate must have a good binocular vision.

So, if your lens power is less than -2.5D, you are eligible for NDA.
