I have appeared for all practicals in class 12th but have skipped all my board exams. Will this give me any disadvantage in du admissions?

Yes it can affect in your admission beacuse you only appeared for practicals of your board and not in your theory exam so it may affect your marks.

Dear Chinmay, there is no chance of an admission in any Institution leaving aside DU if you dont appear for Board Exams. Board exams test your theoritcal knowledge and Practicals test your Practical knowledge. The combined score is taken into consideration to evaluate your academic performance. Attending Practicals or not attending doesnt make any difference until you attend the theoretical exams. With both the results combined together, you are considered either pass or fail. Sorry to disappoint you but there is not one advantage of you skipping the board exams. No college will give you admission just with your practicals results.

OH! You don't get it. What I'm trying to ask is, if I skip my board exams this year and decide to reappear in the next year, DU will surely detect that the difference between my 10th and 12th boards is 3 years. Does that give me any disadvantage in DU admissions?

Indtitutions look out at various factors, like your percentage, no. of years younhave taken to complete the education, etc. When bring compared to other students you will appear as if you have failed and not did not appear. That is going to be there.
