I have applied for Psychology at Christ University. and i am a state board student from kolkata. is it very difficult to get admission there?

It will not seem difficult if you're confident enough. No doubt, NCERT textbooks are best for preparation. Go through every thing that you have studied in your +1 and +2. The entrance test would also consists of questions related to English grammar. So prepare accordingly. You should also try to solve previous year exam papers' which will boost your preparation.
