Hi Vimala,

As far as the state counselling process is concerned then you are allowed to sit for counselling of both government medical colleges and private medical colleges of your domicile state to claim the benefits of 85% satte quota seats.

But as far as other states are concerned, you can apply for counselling only for private medical colleges and not for government medical colleges.

As St. John's medical college is a private college in Bangalore, then you won't have any problem in attending the counselling of Tamil Nadu State and Karnataka state together.

Because in Tamil Nadu you will be eligible for both government and private medical college seats but in Karanataka you are only eligible for private college seats.

Since you are have applied for private one in Karnataka, you are all set and won't have any problem in the counselling process.

Now just wait for the allotment list to come.
