Arihant publications is very good but you need to lot of practice  and know varient type of questions.you will all about when you practice all other like previous questions, mock tests in online ,other publications.



So better to follow other ones along this one.

No. You need a lot of practice and even thousands of questions are insufficient for Jee mains. And just one book cannot get you 280+ as Jee isn't that easy. But this book can help you with clearing your concepts. But I suggest that take any easy book before this as this is an advanced book and directly jumping on it might be a little bit risky. I also suggest to parallely refer other good publications as well because different publishers give different methods and different types of and different levels of problems.
