Arjun with 160 marks in JEE Advance 2018 exam under the general category according to last year marks vs rank distribution you will get a rank around 14800. Although this year according to coaching's experts seeing the increase in the difficulty level of the paper an zero errors in the paper it is expected the cut-off will drop down so with the same score of 160 marks you can expect your rank to rise up a little bit but I am sorry to say that you will never be able to enter in the top 8000 rank with this rank. It is really very very difficult. If you are able to get your rank around 10,000 then you might have a slim chance to end up in some non-conventional branch in one of the ultra new IIT.
