As per the official website of the exam, you need to be a graduate with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to apply for the exam. 4th semester would be 2nd year 2nd Semester ideally.If you are in your 2nd year then you wouldn't be eligible to the exam however if you are in your 8th semester of final year you would be eligible to give the exam.
