I have been allotted my first preferred college in MBBS WB quota, but yet to take admission. Can I take part in round 2 counseling under AIQ, which is starting from today. How to proceed about it?
Hello Aspirant,
As you have mentioned in the question that the seat has been allotted to you and it was your most preferred seat so if you want to go with it then there is no need to participate in further rounds but if you want to change your preferences then you can appear for Round 2 as well. If you have been allotted a seat in West Bengal State quota then you have to register as a fresh candidate for Round 2 of AIQ counselling if you have not appeared in Round 1 of it. AIQ Counselling is conducted by DGHS on the behalf of MCC and for Round 2 registration will start from today i.e. November 18th. So what you have to do in it, you have to register yourselves at mcc.nic.in and then you have to fill your choices and then lock it before or by November 22nd till 3:00 PM. Note that you have to register yourselves by the end of the today.

Good Luck!!
1) Do I have to vacate this WB quota seat?
2) Do I need to opt for AIQ upgrading while reporting at the College?
3) Is this permissible to opt for AIQ upgrade while taking admission under WB state quota?
I can't afford to loose this state quota allotted seat because this the most preferred seat I have been allotted and I case I did not get any seat in AIQ, I will be on the road!
Please clarify.
So, while reporting at WB college, I have to disclose that I am opting for upgrading under AIQ 2nd round. Because under WB quota, there is no scope of upgrading as most preferred choice I have been allotted.
Thank you.
