I have been selected for Ph.D. Program in Economics and Public Policy, at School of Management and Entrepreneurship, Shiv Nadar University. Requesting you to provide me with an opinion as to whether I should join this university or not. Being NET Qualified People have been recommending against it.

Firstly, congratulations for getting selected for the Ph.D program. The School of Management & Entrepreneurship, Shiv Nadar University is a reputed institute with knowledgeable & experienced faculty members & you can expect to have a rich experience in your field of education & research.
So, joining the University wouldn't be a bad option but this is your call to take so take your time to think over it & weigh in all the options you have in hand. If there's any other better opportunity in front of you, then go for it or if you feel this is the opportunity you want to grab then it's fine as long as you perform well.
